Primitive Bow Making Weekend
Ever wanted to make your own bow?
Born out of increasing demand from people who wanted to make their own bow, we have created this weekend to teach people basic bow making techniques. Using a quartered log of ash, you will be taken through the whole process to create a working bow you can take away with you.
Whether you are a carpentry beginner or an expert, an experience archer or you've never picked up a bow before, this course is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
During the weekend you will be guided through the whole process of making a greenwood bow from ash.
You will:
Select and split wood
Design and shape your the bow
Tiller and do the final finishing off
