Small Foresters Froe

£62.00

This model has been designed by myself and expertly made by Andrew Kirkham, a renowned Yorkshire blacksmith. With a bladed edge (not sharp) of 6.5 inches and a handle of about 11.5 inches this tool is great for splitting thin logs and poles. What makes it particularly useful is its narrow depth of blade (1 inch) making it easy to prise open poles without as much strain on the wrists as some more traditional froes.
